People evolve from their environment over many generations and thousands of years. The earth provides the substance by which we survive. Different people come from different environments. Generally, no known civilizations developed and remained viable from desert or mountain areas of the earth, those on rivers, oceans, and natural mineral wealth have survived. In other words we are what we make of our environment, not quite that simple, but it is the basis of our existence.

OPEN LETTER TO THE IRS

Well, I made it, today I am seventy five! I am angry, disappointed, no, I am more than words can describe, my feelings about how this government is being managed brings out the devil in my normally calm nature. If our elected officials do not reform IRS, not just the code but its management, procedures, and personnel. I will do every thing in my power to bring this government down to a level it was intended to be a balanced budget and term limits.

I HAVE BEEN RESPONDING TO THE ATLANTA IRS AUDIT OFFICE FOR MOST OF 9 YEARS, I HAVE CAUGHT THEN IN LIE AFTER LIE, DECEPTIONS, DISREGARD FOR THE CODE, AND THIS AGENCY IS "OEO" GONE MAD. I WILL EXPOSE THEM FOR WHAT THEY ARE, A GOVERNMENT AGENCY ENCOURAGED BY THE DIRECTOR OF IRS IN WASHINGTON (A Bush appointee) WHO MAYBE APPLYING ANY AND ALL MEANS AVAILABLE, SOME APPEAR TO BE ILLEGAL OR NOT, TO USE EXTORTION TO INCREASE FEDERAL REVENUES. IS HIS USE OF THESE PROCEDURES TO BUILD HIS IMAGE AS A LONG TERM GOVERNMENT SERVANT AND ADVANCE HIS EMPLOYEES FOR THEIR SUCCESSFUL EXTORTION METHODS IN DESTROYING LIVES AND BUSINESSES? IN MY EFFORT TO DO WHAT IS RIGHT AND FINDING MANY OTHER BUSINESSES AND FAMILIES THAT HAVE SUFFERED MY SAME FATE. CONGRESS, HOUSE AND SENATE, IF YOU ARE NOT STANDING ON TOP OF YOUR DESK IN THE CAPITOL DEMANDING TAX CODE REFORM NOW AS THE PRIORITY OF THE YEAR. THEN DON'T COME BACK TO GEORGIA LOOKING FOR FUNDS OR SUPPORT, WE DON'T WANT YOU. WE WILL MEET YOU! AT EVERY TURN TO STOP YOUR RETURN TO WASHINGTON. WE WANT SOMEONE WHO WILL CONTRACT TO FIGHT FOR BALANCED BUDGET AND TERM LIMITS ON TOP OF TOTAL TAX CODE REFORM. NOT SOME EXCUSE TO GO SLOW STUDYING FLAT TAX OR SALES TAX, NOW IT IS THE TIME!

But my energy may not be needed, I might wait for a few years for the Chinese to do it. They are on their way to replacing us as "The World Power" and this so called central government of ours is trying to start a trade war with them, one of our largest creditors..wake up America, look what we send to Washington to represent us. We had a choice, we had a choice? Kerry or Bush, both egoistical, one a phony war hero and both intellectual dwarfs, you could base this on their grade point averages, of course I voted Bush (I was in Vietnam for 2 years). Is this all 265,000,000. Americans, not counting the 30,000,000 "illegals" or maybe a better name for these visitors would be "guests" of big cheap labor businesses and whoever gets their votes paid for by the money I worked for and extorted from me by this damn government, yes, damn government; it is too big, too nosey, too expensive, and becoming even more unnecessarily militarily aggressive. It is time to call it what it is. Remember Eisenhower's speech at Rice University, "Our greatest enemy is with in our country, the industrial military complex". Today he would need to amend this by adding "and a bloated self grandizing government bureaucracy and the special interests they represent." They can only do this if they take our money; their thievery is "taxation" long over due for reform but a reformed tax code would take away their power to structure our lives their way and be able to bribe us with "pork" projects. At least most "thieves" have enough honor to call it "loot".

It is possible to confront a group of ordinary citizens and question their fear of the terrorists and get no response, but just mention IRS and you get response and none is favorable and some is actually venomous. The only people who can claim responsibility for this is your elected representative, wait, they can't be representing us if they can't support the war they voted for, stop the loss of heavy metal industrial jobs, the kind that pay real family supporting wages, close our borders, balance their budget, quit borrowing from foreign countries, or turn the control of the education of our children back to the people and free it from the unions that have taken it over with devastatingly bad results, there is more. But wait, they are good at responding to special interests and continuing to vote after midnight their pay raises. One more thing, they seem to be able to find fault with anything or issue that will get them in front of a camera for politics.

I have an idea, first we line all of the representatives up and one at a time put them in front of a TV camera for only one minute to tell us what they did good for us this month or the most important thing they did for the country. One minute only, they must be brief and precise without charts, do it live in prime time. I know already, most of us would wonder how in the world did we give control of our lives to these people. To continue, once a year the speaker of the house and president of the senate would have roll call and each member would come forward and read a statement listing the amount of revenue (taxes, fees, fines, etc.) were paid from his or her constituents to the federal government and how much in grants, public works, pay rolls, welfare, purchases, the costs incurred in their offices, staffs, other pork, and travels, etc. came back to the constituents. Then we could figure out how much went to foreign aid, outer space, military assistance to foreign countries, and all those things we didn't know about. It would be nice if we knew as much about how the government spends and exactly where the money comes from, taxes or loans? It seems logical to me if the IRS can demand and if necessary take this information from me at gun point and extortion; we have the right to know the same in return from the government.

I support the war in Iraq, but is not being fought properly when congressmen and senators become generals and generals politicians. I have participated in an insurgency war, the one we loss (Vietnam). Let's see, we have reported 2,000 of US dead in Iraq, to make an anti war point to exceed Vietnam we only have 53,000 more to go. I know that our military likes to report quantities of things, bombs, tanks, enemy dead, etc. and they have the habit of only using quality terms when referring to and grandizing themselves. I have been in uniform three times as a volunteer, this war, if I had a loved ones over there I would go get them and bring them home. When and if congress goes to war and the industrial special interests go to war over there, I might change my mind about it. How much time do you think they spend worrying about our friends in the war over there, finding ways to win it and help the people that have been under the heinous rule of a tyrant. None. If congress votes to go to war they are putting absolute trust in the generals and admirals to win, if congress wants to run the war, they should be in Iraq, it is not or it shouldn't be fought from Washington on C-Span or with the talking heads trying to "make" news to get ratings. C-span and TV news has become theater, not government.

I AM APPROACHING A STATE OF DISTASTE FOR ANYTHING OUR GOVERNMENT IS DOING, I AM ADAMANT THAT THE LIBERAL STATE OF MIND ABOUT BEING POLITICALLY CORRECT HAS DESTROYED THE STRUCTURE AND STRENGTH OF OUR COUNTRY. THERE MUST BE A MOVEMENT TO BUILD WITH IN OUR BORDERS BEFORE WE BUILD OUTSIDE OF IT. I MAKE THE FOLLOWING DEMANDS:

Immediately invoke a "sundown" provision no further than 24 months out, on all, all government commitments, employment, foreign aid civilian or military and funding. No more pork, it stops now.

Now reorganize the congress into less committees and less quorum calls. No committee should have more than five members. Their committee hearings have become theater not government.

All government elected or employed personnel and primary contractors and suppliers shall have no more than one passport, no duel citizenships. You have 24 hours to decide where your loyalty resides or face deportation and loss of American citizenship.
Convene a conference in isolation to rewrite or change the entire tax system and code for the country. A time limit on this process is six months, the support for this will have the highest priority any and all support required. It shall be comprised of 30% PRIVATE BUSINESS, 30% REPRESENTATIVES FROM THE LEGISLATURE, 30% PRIVATE CITIZENS, AND 10% UNIVERSITY. (THE 10% IS FOR IN CASE THE OTHERS CAN'T ADD OR SPELL.)

Create a cabinet office to direct and administer only public health with departments for 1-Cancer and other catastrophic illness, 2-Communicable diseases, and not social disorders, 3-Pharmaceuticals (drugs), 4- Advance diagnostic and preventative health centers as part of public health, 5-World Health.

Although distasteful to me, an identification nationally, start with a driver's license with the requirement that the license will require the advance payment for liability insurance (from an established pool just for this purpose) this whether you own a vehicle or not, if you drive anything anywhere you will have liability insurance, no exceptions.

To vote in any and all elections you must register 30 days in advance and produce documents of your American citizenship to obtain a voter's identification.

Establish an American standard, the main stream has got us to the top of the heap, diversity is not a solution, it is a problem and by the laws of nature will always be work in progress. Our culture shall be maintained, our character shall be maintained, our freedom maintained. If you don't like what you found here, those traits that made us great, leave.

As to our foreign policy, read "WORLD ON FIRE", Amy Chua, "GUNS, GERMS, AND STEEL", Jared Diamond, "THE GENIUS OF CHINA", Robert Temple, "DARK AGE AHEAD", Jane Jacobs, "THE NEW AMERICAN MILITARISM", Andrew Bacevich and any half dozen good American history and economic books. We formulate our policy for this century and start following it the American way not the UN way, the Israel way, not the French way; but by and for the American way, which as been little in evidence since 1946.

"It is the economy stupid", no it is not! It is the government control of the economy, it is the stupid government, not you. The change in tax code, a rethinking about the FEDERAL RESERVE BANK system, international corporations, international trade export/import; all have to be rethought and standards set.

Education, we have failed, now turn back 50+ years in methods, correct the curriculum.

Expand opportunities for basic research and technological innovation, the Americans should be the world leader into the future. Stupid, when you digitize data (as we have everything) you can no longer protect it, what intellectual properties? Didn't they know that it becomes as free as the air, we don't have it stolen we give it away.

Take politics out of pensions and retirement, oh yes and medical support.

Our founding fathers got it right; but what our growing greed, pride, ambition, politics have done to damage their plan for government has put us at the crest, we either get it right now or start further down a path to really being a third rate country.

Example: The current "fooforall" over the treatment of prisoners, it is a war stupid, there are no known nice ways to fight an enemy, that is what war is about from the beginning of time.

As I finish this on C-Span is the Cong. John Conners, Lee, Waters, Ray McGovern (fr. CIA), and most of the OEO liberals in Congress stating to the world the war is a mistake, blame the Republicans and Bush. If we allow this on government TV it should be with a split screen, showing the mass graves of Iraq, those gassed in northern Iraq, and the American wounded at Walter Reed who for the most part are supporting the war. And before this group the Set a date we will surrender to the terrorists was on C-Span. There is right now some kid lawyer from where else but Boston promoting his book about the Downing Street memo, what the hell does he actually know about Downing Street and British law. Now Joe Wilson is talking.this is proof we do not have a professional foreign service.

I AM BITTER AND EVEN MORE DISCOURAGED NOW THAT I HAVE MET OTHER BUSINESS MEN WITH SAME IRS PROBLEM I HAVE AND GOT THE SAME STALL AND RUN AROUND TO RUN UP PENALTIES AND INTEREST STATEMENTS. THEY LIKE ME REFUSE TO SUPPORT THE REPUBLICAN PARTY AND ARE APPLYING EVERY METHOD OF TAX AVOIDANCE KNOWN TO BE "LEGAL".

I PLAN TO BANK IN CHINA WITH AN ACCOUNT WITH A SENIOR MILITARY OFFICIAL'S AUSPICES OF PROTECTION. THEN WE WILL SEE IF THE IRS CAN CRACK THAT FILE. I'M NOT WORRIED, BUT THEY MAY GO AFTER MY CHILDREN'S ASSETS, WHICH THEY ALREADY HAVE MADE ONE ATTEMPT. I CAN NOT BELIEVE THIS IS MY GOVERNMENT AFTER 75 YEARS WITH LIES AND EXTORTION ARE ATTEMPTING TO RUIN MY LIFE ACTUALLY OVER A SMALL AMOUNT OF MONEY, BECAUSE I DARED TO CONTEST AND PERSISTENTLY REFUSE TO PAY WHAT IS NOT THEIRS; AND CHALLENGE AN "OEO" AUDITOR'S ABILITY AND WORK. ("OEO" IS CODE FOR BLACK MINORITY AT IRS)

I READ THAT THE IRS HAS SQUANDERED MILLIONS ON FAILED COMPUTER SYSTEMS. I THINK THE PUBLIC SHOULD BE ABLE TO PLACE THE BLAME AND FORCE RESPONSIBLE PARTIES TO PAY FOR THEIR MISTAKES. AS IT IS NOW THEY CAN AND PROBABLY ARE MAKING MISTAKES THAT REQUIRE US TO PAY MORE MONEY IN TAXES, SO THEY CRANK UP THE OLE AUDIT GAME AND EXTORT MORE MONEY. IS THIS GOOD GOVERNMENT, IS IT FAIR? OF COURSE IT IS NOT, WE THE PUBLIC SHOULD HAVE THE RIGHT TO INTIMIDATE THE IRS TO PAY UP. I CAN COME UP WITH SOME REALLY NEAT INTIMIDATION METHODS I LEARNED IN VIETNAM.

THERE DEFINITELY THINGS GONE WRONG WITH OUR GOVERNMENT, IF WE DON'T FIX IT NOW BE PREPARED TO EXPERIENCE A THIRD WORLD OR POORER EXISTENCE. AMEN!

I REALLY DON'T THINK THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WANT TO PROTECT THEIR LIBERTY AND WHAT FREEDOMS THEY HAVE LEFT.

If you read 1776 and what few made such great suffices for our liberty and freedoms are you willing to make any effort to preserve them?

NEXT ISSUE WILL LOOK INTO THE MILITARY INDUSTRIAL, POLITICAL COMPLEX AND HOW IT IS RUNNING OUT OF CONTROL AIDED BY AN INTELLECTUAL DWARF AS PRESIDENT AND A LEGISLATURE OF (I CAN'T THINK OF A GOOD DESCRIPTIVE WORD THAT IS NOT VULGAR OR TOO NASTY TO PRINT).
